Anniversary of the liberation April 2024

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the liberation, numerous events took place again.

Representatives of the IRK took part in these.

On Friday, pupils from the Ernst Litfass School marked the route from the railway station to the camp.

On Saturday morning, the memorial site in Grüneberg - a former satellite camp - was inaugurated with lively participation

At the same time, the Genertionenforum took place in the MGR.

In the afternoon, there was the traditional commemoration in the Uckermark.

Sunday began at the Soviet memorial, followed by the central commemoration ceremony in front of the Komandantur.

Individual commemorations were held in the afternoon.
